Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd 38-2 (5.4 overs)
On a grey day Charlbury entertained Wootton & Boars Hill. Wootton batted first and so Matt and Kieran opened the bowling. With rain forecast the game was started at a 25 over a side match and so from ball one the batsmen just went for it. A couple of early boundaries were scored and the score started to race along. A couple of overs in and the rain came so the players left the field. On their return and in the first over back Matt managed to induce a false shot and Charlie took a catch. Tim now came on to bowl in place of Kieran. The batsmen continued to go for it as light rain again began to fall. Tim then bowled one batsman as Charlbury grabbed their second wicket. Before the over could finish however the rain came down harder and the players once again left the field. After a delay to see if the rain would stop it was agreed to abandon the match.
