Membership Information

You will be given a link to the payments page at the end of the membership form process.

Charlbury Cricket Club is committed to encouraging as many people as possible to take part in a great sport with an enjoyable social side as well. To that end, we have adopted the ECB (English Cricket Board) policy on equity in sport and invite you to join a club where you will receive a warm welcome and the opportunity to play for a club whatever your age, gender or ability.

The club aims to keep membership fees at a reasonable level for all, provide assistance to younger members who may be struggling with other costs; support members of a womens team as well as making provision for the future by running a youth section.

The membership fees for 2020 have been simplified and agreed by club members and the details are as follows:

Full Senior Membership

This allows you to play all forms of cricket to which you are eligible including senior teams entered into the Cherwell League, Women’s League, all indoor leagues, friendly fixtures and social games.

Membership fee £120 per season

Youth, and other memberships

Available to anyone Under 19 as at 1.1.2020 or in full-time education. This will allow you to play in all the leagues above plus any OCB youth competitions that you are eligible for. Please note ECB All stars need to sign up through a different process.

Membership fee £60 per season

Women and Girls Only Cricket

This will allow women to play in the Women’s league, Women’s indoor league, OCB youth games and any friendly and social games but not Cherwell league games

Membership fee £60 per season

Social Membership = £25.00 per person

This will allow you to be a fully signed up member of the club, allowing the use of the facilities and be eligible for social and friendly games.

ECB All Stars Cricket = £50.00 per person

If you would like more details please contact us at  Full details can be found on the All Stars page.

We really want to encourage everyone to think of Charlbury as a family friendly club and wish to extend a warm invitation to parents to spend time at the club whilst the children are receiving coaching. The pavilion and bar will be manned throughout the ‘training session’, so we hope that parents will take advantage of this facility.

Members who experience financial hardship are asked to contact the Membership Secretary in confidence. The club would prefer to help you to continue playing at and for Charlbury, rather than lose a valued member.
