Clubhouse lounge bar refurbishments for 2021:
We are pleased to be able to issue a photograph of the new layout in the clubhouse, following new furniture being delivered and installed to-day. The decorating has been completed, carpet and matting laid, with door blinds and a new 54″ TV to be installed next week. Hopefully we shall soon be able to take advantage of this new facility once the Covid regulations are lifted, but in the meantime the bar will be open for ‘table service’ only, with plenty of space outside for social distancing.
New ‘roadside sign’ for Charlbury C.C.
We are very grateful to Cornbury Estates and Cotswold-Graphics for the new signboard that was erected yesterday at the club entrance, and can be viewed and read from both directions. This is a very substantial sign and hopefully will last for many years to come. A further sign is in the process of manufacture and will be placed at the entrance to the main car park before the start of the season.

Completion of Disabled Access at the club:
We are thrilled to be able to show a photograph of the work carried out by Cotswold Landscaping of Charlbury (Tommy Jenkins) to the disabled access at the club. Our thanks also to go to Mike Shayler who organised this project and who is in the process of replacing the second ground scoreboard, which had fallen into disrepair.
Minutes of various committee meetings
In order that players, club members and friends of the club are aware of what is happening, and the decisions made by the various committee’s, the Chairman has suggested that bullet points of meetings are made available for viewing, and these can be seen by clicking on ‘Club Information’, scrolling down to ‘Minutes of Meetings’.
Change of Club Chairman
At the October Annual General Meeting Tom Eaton gave his final ‘Chairman’s Report’ to the meeting, as he handed over the reins to David Horne for the next three years.
The club is greatly indebted to Tom for his committment to the club during these past three years, and much has been achieved under his chairmanship, often under very difficult circumstances, not to mention Covid 19!!. The club is so pleased that Tom will now take on the role as Youth Cricket Manager, and we wish him every success in the future.
